Traveling to Nashville soon? Planning to see the sites of Music City?
Enjoy Nashville's Best City Tour riding on the World's Coolest Technology - the Segway Personal Transporter!
The best tour of downtown Nashville is also the most unique. A tour guide will lead you and your family (or friends) around to see the sites on your own personal Segways. The fantastic journey lasts between 2 and 2 1/2 hours and will take you all around the city.
Learn entertaining and historical facts about Music City as you glide along the sidewalks of downtown Nashville and through the Bicentennial Mall State Park. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
I had lived in Nashville for nearly 2 years before I finally took the Segway Tour of Nashville. I enjoyed the city like I'd never seen it before! The tour guide was friendly and full of information. He knew so many things about the city and even had wonderful recommendations for restaurants to try.
And the Segways are AMAZING! These fun and unusual devices make this good tour a GREAT tour. Training on the Segways is provided before you begin your tour and it doesn't take long. The Segway becomes a sort of natural extension of your body. They are simple to maneuver and a lot of fun.
Segway of Nashville offers the city's best guided tour. Tours are by appointment only and cost $75 plus tax per person. (If that price makes you think twice, know that it is 100% worth it! - I have no connection with Segway of Nashville, I just had a lot of fun on my recent tour of the city).
Important things to know:
- Riders must be 18 (or at least 16 with parent or guardian).
- Riders must weigh 100-260 lbs and have normal balance.
- Helmets are provided and required.
- Cost: $75 + tax per person
Appointments can be made by calling: (615) 244-0555

Well - Hey there neighbor! How great to meet someone from Nashville - or have you moved? Either way, I am very happy to hear about this tour. There is so much to take in here in Nshville. Thanks for this hub. Up and awesome! :) vocalcoach

Walking would be just too much, too far, to take in everything. This is the best solution. You get to see everything at walking speed (just about), without getting exhausted, hours later.
